Job profile
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for the smooth running of client operations onsite. You will be the first point of contact in case of performance and maintenance issues regarding all automated warehouse systems. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Understand complex maintenance operations on products (robots, systems, machines…) which need repair.
- Analyze the failures on the products and propose the most suitable technical solution.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on products and machines if needed.\
- Perform on-site retrofit operations when required.
- Report internally the issues on the products, in a philosophy of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the proper use and safeguard of tools and spare parts within the workshop.
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in the workshop.
- Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines if needed.
- Carry out repairs and after sales service activities.
- Analyze and diagnose issues, such as assembling, robots, components and equipment issues.
- Team up with other teams and pass on important information.
- Guarantee that the work progress accurately follows the agenda.
- Perform troubleshooting, strive to resolve issues and identify root causes.
- Participate in improving system reliability and customer service.
- Document and report issues, and record all parts withdrawn from stock.
Working conditions
You will receive a base salary between €3500,- and €4000,- gross a month (depending on your experience level). A suitable candidate has a technical degree in mechanics, electrical engineering or industrial maintenance. Experience as a maintenance technician is preferred, however we also accept applications from candidates with no experience and who are willing to learn. You will at least need to have good technical skills in software, mechanics and/or electrical engineering, and you like to work on various systems and machines. Also, you have an interest in robotics and industrial logistics and are able to read technical drawings. Last but not least, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is also preferred).
