As Manager, you are responsible for providing leadership and management to a team of Production Engineers. Through developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, workflows and equipment, the team enables the operations department to achieve its goals and satisfy customer’s needs. The Production Engineering team is responsible for work preparation, calculation, proto-build process optimization and standardization. In this position, you will report to the Operations Manager.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team of Production Engineers by motivating, coaching and supporting to develop the team members to operational success;
- Define and prioritize the activities of the team members within the different areas of responsibility.
- Drive continuous process improvement activities in accordance to safety, quality, delivery and cost targets;
- Secure and enhance the capability of existing processes;
- Ensure work standards are implemented in accordance to the quality, health&safety and the environment (QHSE) procedures.

Job requirements
- A higher professional education (HBO/WO) work and thinking level;
- Technical education in the field of mechanical engineering, technical business administration or comparable;
- Minimum of 5-10 years' leadership experience, coaching style within a production environment;
- Experience as a manager and leading a team consisting of highly skilled professionals;
- Experience with managing 20+ FTE within a Engineering environment;
- Experience with 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, DFSS and continuous improvement;
- Minimal Six Sigma Green Belt certified (Black Belt is preferred);
- Knowledge of packaging technologies and/or cleanroom assembly and cleaning processes is a plus;
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems;
- Good command of Dutch and English;
